The
Silent Observer program is a 24-hour tip line that is
answered at the police department. Tips received
are then disseminated to the appropriate law enforcement
agency.
Silent
Observer affords an individual the opportunity to call
in specific information with the ability to remain
anonymous or at least to limit their identity to a
select group of individuals at a time. Callers are
specifically asked if they want to leave their name for
follow-up contact or not, or they have the option to
leave a number identifier for future reference.
The
Fast $50 Program is set up in the local
school district and promotes school age individuals to
call in tips on weapons and narcotics issues, as well
as, other significant information that relates to school
and student safety.
