    Allendale Area Chamber of Commerce
    Job Description
    The Allendale Area Chamber of Commerce is hiring a professional, highly motivated, detail orientated person to support the success of the leading business organization in the area with opportunity to grow the position.
    Salary: 24 hours per week, $12 - $15 per hour
    Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.  
    Must have at least two years of office management and customer service experience. 
    Must be able to work independently and in a team setting. 

    Job Duties: 
    Database manager  
    Responsible for creating and maintaining accurate information on area businesses/organizations in the ChamberMaster database. 
    Track membership activity and information. 
    Run various reports. 

    Manage day to day accounting/bookkeeping duties such as accounts receivables and payables. 
    Reconcile accounts and develop monthly financial statements. 
    Provide accountant with information to file business tax returns. 

    Administrative coordinator/front desk receptionist  
    Answer telephone and main email inbox. 
    Greet and service office visitors.
    Provide information to customers/members by responding to questions and requests.  
    Work with executive director to create and document internal processes. 
    Maintain accurate Board of Directors meeting minutes and records. 
    Additional support duties as assigned. 

    Event support 
    Work with executive director to schedule, plan and implement chamber programming, meetings and events. 

    Office Management 
    Oversee everyday office functions.
    Serve as point of contact for office tenants. 
    Maintain clean, stocked office environment.
