    Store Manager - Love I.N.C. of Allendale

     

     

    Store Manager – Love I.N.C. of Allendale is seeking a manager for the new resale store. Candidate needs to be compassionate, creative and have experience in a retail setting. Employment at LOVE I.N.C. requires a strong faith in Jesus Christ, with the ability to share that faith and embrace the philosophy of the Love INC ministry (a passion for encouraging Christian service to the poor). Being a team player that can work well within a group is a must.

     

    Candidate will be responsible for day-to-day operations of new store including:

    • ·         Maintaining excellent customer service and processing sales quickly, accurately and efficiently
    • ·         Receiving, pricing and displaying merchandise
    • ·         Working with Volunteer Coordinator to schedule and utilize volunteers
    • ·         Supervision of volunteers working in the new store
    • ·         Generating weekly and monthly financial store reports
    • ·         Balancing and managing cash in store
    • ·         Handling and registering daily deposits
    • ·         Safety and security of inventory, facility, customers and volunteers

     

    Additional Responsibilities:

    • ·        
    • ·         Work with Director and Communications Coordinator to promote and market store
    • ·         Create a welcoming and inviting environment
    • ·         Offer compassion and warmth to customers and potential clients who need assistance
    • ·         Keep abreast of community resources
    • ·         Communicate needs of store, customers and community to Supervisor
    • ·         Other responsibilities as assigned

     

     

    Qualifications:

    • ·         Sales and sales management experience with a customer-focused, operationally excellent retail (along with an established record of high personal performance)
    • ·         A proven track-record in sales management experience
      • ·         Skilled in design and retail display
      • ·         Team-player mentality
      • ·         Operational and financial performance management skills

    Reports to:  Operations Manager

    Store Hours:  Monday – Saturday 10:00am – 5:00pm

    Position is part-time 28-35 hours per week

    Job Description:   Emergency Water, Fire, Smoke Restoration.  Clean carpets, upholstery and drapery and perform repair and dyeing services that equal or exceed company and customer quality standards.  Perform marketing tasks to sell additional services that are in line with the pricing guidelines.  Drive a company truck.  Load and unload equipment and supplies at work place.  Move furniture as required for completion of the job.

    Job Requirements: This job requires a high school diploma.  Availability for emergency jobs after hours or on weekends.

    Specific Requirements: Must be bondable, possess a valid driver's license with no violations, undergo drug screening, pass an employment test, pass a physical examination, and undergo a reference and security check.

    Additional Requirements: Truck Mount experience and IICRC certification a plus.  Ability to read and write simple correspondence and memos.  Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measurement.  Ability to compute rate and percent.  Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.  The employee must regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds.  All employees will be trained and required to become certified.

    Champions the plant Quality Execution initiatives and operates as the local subject matter expert in applicable policies, programs, and systems.  Responsible for problem-solving with respect to plant quality related issues and for driving people development within the QE department, including hiring and promoting for success, technical/functional training, leadership development, and performance management.

    Bachelors Degree in Food Science or related discipline with minimum of 2 years quality or production management experience in the food industry and a strong technical background in food technology, food science, dairy science, microbiology, or chemistry is required.  Knowledge of QC practices in a food manufacturing environment; strong leadership skills; prior experience with HACCP; excellent problem solving/decision making skills; and a proven track record of accomplishments is needed in order to be successful.
