  • AACC Scholarship

    Every year, the Allendale Area Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Fund awards a $500 scholarship to an Allendale area senior who has accepted and will be attending Grand Valley State University in the fall immediately following their high school graduation. Applicants are asked to write a short essay about ‘building a better community’ and are judged on leadership, citizenship and involvement in school and community activities.

    Business and schools alliances promote quality education

    Marking 100 years of parochial education in 2014-15, Allendale Christian School is poised for the next century of learning.  The preK-8 school offers a Christ-centered curriculum characterized by academic excellence and opportunities for students to experience community service. 

    Allendale pathways in higher education open career doors suiting all levels of interests, time and abilities. With its main campus located at Allendale, Grand Valley State University provides 81 undergraduate and 33 graduate programs. Nearby Grand Rapids Community College offers affordable two-years degree in hot job fields. Hope College in Holland, a distinguished liberal arts college, offers four-year degrees.
