Inaugural Allendale Chamber//Rotary Golf Outing
The Allendale Area Chamber of Commerce and Rotary Club of Allendale will present its Inaugural Golf Outing Saturday, June 19, 2021. This public event will be one of the premier chamber/ rotary events that include not only members of the chamber, rotary, and area residents, but also dignitaries and key community leaders from Allendale and the surrounding communities. All are welcome to attend this fun event!

Featuring all the hallmarks of Michigan links-style golf. Opened in 2000 these wide Kentucky Blue Grass fairways with Bent Grass PURE rolling greens are sure to bring your golf game a true delight!
Offering all levels of golfers an enjoyable experience with 4 different tees to choose from. The course also offers a few risk and reward holes that are sure to get you excited every time you step to the tee.
Our co-hosted golf outing is an important opportunity to support the Allendale Chamber//Rotary Scholarship Foundation's while enjoying a great day of golf. ⛳
Proceeds Benefit the Following Scholarships:The GVSU Scholarship
Every year, the Allendale Area Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Fund awards a $500 scholarship to an Allendale area senior who has accepted and will be attending Grand Valley State University in the fall immediately following their high school graduation. Applicants are asked to write a short essay about 'building a better community' and are judged on leadership, citizenship, and involvement in school and community activities.
The Skilled Trades Scholarship
This scholarship is made possible through generous support from manufacturing/industrial businesses in Allendale. The goal is to assist an Allendale area high school senior who will be continuing their education in the skilled trades training/certification immediately following their high school graduation. All candidates are judged on their merit. Primary consideration is given to individuals who have demonstrated commitment to learning a trade. There must be evidence of a strong desire to succeed.
Scholarship for Welding/Fabrication Training
Constructive Sheet Metal Inc. and the Allendale Area Chamber of Commerce established a $500 scholarship to support the advancement of welding/fabrication training/certification. The goal is to financially assist an Allendale area high school senior who will be continuing their education in the skilled trades training/certification immediately following their high school graduation. All candidates are judged on their merit. Primary consideration is given to individuals who have demonstrated commitment to learning the welding/fabricating trade and will be pursuing a welding/fabricating technician certificate or Welding Technology Associate of Applied Arts and Sciences degree.
Rotary Club of Allendale Scholarships
Our goal is to assist Allendale residents who are high school seniors, who have been accepted and will be attending a Michigan college in the Fall immediately following their high school graduation.
All candidates are judges on their merit with demonstrations of leadership, citizenship, volunteerism, and involvement in school and/or community activities, along with a strong desire to succeed.
A committee, comprised of Allendale Rotary Club members, will select the recipient(s) of the $1,000 award. Upon acceptance of the award, the recipient(s) agrees to give 10 hours of volunteer time to this local Rotary Club as a way to become involved in Rotary and give back to the community for this support.Event Sponsors
